Sound therapy has also shown to be effective in pain relief, creating vitality and an overall sense of well-being. Scientists now know that the body is a dynamic energy system that has a natural resonant frequency that can become upset or imbalanced, resulting in illness or disease. Cyma Technologies has developed instruments that deliver precise combinations of frequencies associated with healthy tissues and organs. These sound waves, when applied to the body, can normalize imbalances and bring the systems back into a natural state of vibrational resonance or harmony.

Orthotropics, a branch of dentistry that focuses on the growth and development of the face and jaws. Unlike traditional orthodontics, which primarily aims to straighten teeth, Orthotropics addresses the position and function of the entire jaw and facial structure in relation to the rest of the body, a truly holistic approach.

The goal is to guide facial growth naturally and in a balanced manner through proper oral posture, breathing habits, and functional appliances, with the intent of improving overall body balance and airway health.

Dr. Dawn Diehnelt’s drive to find the truth in matters of oral and holistic health has led her down the path to training under many of the trailblazers in orthotropic dentistry (a field of dentistry that is focused on the connection between airway health, facial form, function, and how they tie in together with the health of the rest of the body).

“I honestly believe that a life where you’re waking up constantly fatigued or regularly getting bodily pain is not a normal life – let alone a life that allows for the experience of optimal health. It is my life’s goal to assist people in their healing journeys and return them to their most vital and healthy state so that each person coming to me can lead a truly optimal life, physically and mentally. I’m fortunate enough to know that the medicine I practice can do that.”

Having studied Naturopathic and Chiropractic medicine for 6 years at the National University of Health Sciences, Dr. Haque (pronounced “Huck”) applies herbal medicine, functional nutrition, classical homeopathy, physical medicine, and craniosacral therapy in order to increase his patients’ overall vitality.

He has also studied the science of Applied Kinesiology (AK), an accurate diagnostic modality, under the tutelage of a senior practitioner in the AK community, Dr. Louis Boven. Dr. Haque strives to implement treatment modalities that work holistically with the body to generate a state of accelerated healing and optimal health. He works to meet each patient at their comfort level and values their individuality.

Prior to studying holistic medicine, Dr. Haque grew up and studied in Pittsburgh, PA, attending the University of Pittsburgh for his bachelors degree. His studies and personal experiences during his undergrad (feel free to ask him about them) led him to understand the different fields of medicine and healing arts that are utilized around the world. This knowledge enlivened his love for the science of healing and turned it into a lifelong passion.

Outside of treating patients, Dr. Haque enjoys walking in the park with his family, giving unwanted kisses to his daughters, reading, and playing tennis and basketball.
